Uriel Calatayud is a director. And he is, mainly, because since he was a child his father took him to the video store every Friday and Sunday. If he was lucky, even on Wednesdays.

There are no more video stores. But his passion for audiovisual narrative is still there. His main influences are some of Hitchcock’s disciple directors and The Simpsons.

His work is characterized by a contemporary visual style – with a particular dedication to photography and art – and by a meticulous direction of actors that allows the performer to flow and contribute.

He enjoys the sea, the NBA, martial arts, Dragon Ball and going to the places by walking.
